1347 - De Nigrae Pestis Ludo is a strategic board game featuring an action-programming system based on an engaging mechanism of auctions and bidding. Players take on the role of plague doctors, striving to gain fame and become the most prominent and influential healer of the borough. Treating the infected grants access to their special abilities; increasing wealth expands strategic options and could secure victory; hiring Monatti at the port helps gain influence and become the most effective doctor of 1347 A.D.!
1347 combines the spirit of FEL with a game that is not just a mere gadget or fan-game but a fully-fledged board game! 1347 is designed for everyone, though fans of Feudalesimo e Libertà will particularly appreciate the setting and some details. Nonetheless, our goal was not to exploit our fans but to create a game that is genuinely enjoyable. To achieve this, we entrusted the design of game mechanics to expert game designer Marco Mingozzi, with illustrations by artist Daniela Giubellini.
