The 2026 Calendar of Feudalesimo e Libertà

The Calendar of the Ancient Explorers
Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of the ancient explorers with the MMXXVI Calendar of Feudalesimo e Libertà! Forged by the skilled hands of master papermakers and illuminated with the most precious quills and pigments of Europe, this fine artifact celebrates the most illustrious and influential travelers who, between the Middle Ages and the early modern age, explored distant and exotic lands.
Among them were those who set sail in search of new trade routes (Columbus and Magellan), those who journeyed to spread the word of God (Dominicans and Jesuits), and those who merely desired to conquer new lands (the Conquistadores). Some left behind memoirs and diaries of what they saw (such as "The Travels of Marco Polo"), while others are known to us thanks to oral tradition or contemporary accounts.
In addition to the best-known European explorers, in the Calendar you will also find travelers and wanderers from other lands: from the Chinese admiral Zheng He, who with his fleet of junks reached as far as the African coasts, to Leif Erikson, the first Norseman to reach the American continent five centuries before Columbus, passing through the great Berber explorer Ibn Battuta and his expeditions in Persia, India, and Southeast Asia.
