THE SHIRT OF TRUE VIKINGS

RAISE YOUR NORSE HORN TOO!
Skål (pronounced “skol”) is the traditional expression used for making a toast in Denmark, Sweden, and Norway, roughly translatable into English as “cheers”. The word comes from the Old Norse term skalar, which referred to a bowl or cup—generally wooden—used for drinking.
With this shirt, Feudalesimo e Libertà means to celebrate the Scandinavian way of conviviality. For there is truly naught better to seal a friendship than raising hollow horns brimming with mead and ale in a tavern!
THE ILLUSTRATION
The image shows a valiant warrior astride a golden boar, in the typical style of medieval Gothic rose windows. The sharp lines and vibrant pigments give the miniature a bright, epic look!
The Norseman is raising his horn as though it were a war trumpet, while his cloak wraps around his body and the wild boar bears him toward the hall of Valhalla!
